Responsibilities:
-Oversee and coordinate the MDS process for resident assessments and
care plans.
-Ensure assessments are accurate and completed within regulatory
timelines.
-Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for comprehensive
care plan implementation.
-Ensure timely physician certification and accurate diagnosis code
entries.
-Optimize reimbursements in partnership with the Interdisciplinary Team
(IDT).
-Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations,
offering guidance and training.
-Conduct audits and quality assurance reviews to uphold high care
standards.
-Serve as an MDS resource, answering staff questions and resolving
issues.
-Facilitate ongoing education and training regarding MDS processes and
updates.
-Participate in care conferences, effectively communicating with
residents, families, and healthcare providers.
-Maintain accurate resident records with electronic charting systems.
-Assess potential admissions, collaborating with discharge planners and
reporting to nursing staff.
-Participate in nursing management and staff meetings, and monitor
staffing needs.
-Join the Nurse On Call rotation after 90 days and oversee scheduling
for immediate needs outside regular hours.

Requirements:
-Minimum of 2 years of experience in MDS completion.
-Current RN license in the state of Wisconsin.
-Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
-Strong time management and goal-setting abilities.

-Proficient in understanding state and federal guidelines regarding
nursing and care delivery.
