John Alex Consultants is currently assisting an academic health system seeking to hire RNs with experience in Emergency Services. The hospital is a 225-bed acute care facility with a Stroke designation. The Emergency Department sees approximately 40,000 patient visits per year. The RN will have support assistance of 2 CNAs per shift. The position offers shift differentials between $4.50 - $6.50/ solid compensation, with a full benefits package including SC State Retirement Plan and a $20,000K Signing Bonus!
Shifts available are:
7 pm - 7 am
10 am - 10 pm
3 pm - 3 am
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical and psychosocial dimensions, within specified timeframes
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Assist with emergency procedures as necessary
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of South Carolina
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in an emergency room setting preferred
- Proficient in IV insertion, patient assessment, and emergency medical procedures
