Caregiver and Household Coordinator

Description

Are you a compassionate, skilled Certified Medical Assistant looking to make a meaningful difference in someone’s life? Our family is in search of a dedicated In-Home Caregiver + Household Coordinator to join our team to support our 90-year-old father, a wonderful man who has dementia. We understand how valuable exceptional care is, and we want to find someone who will treat our loved one with the same kindness and respect we do.

As a vital member of our caregiving team, you’ll play a key role in creating a positive, safe, and nurturing environment for our father. You will provide direct patient care including medication administration while assisting with activities of daily living such as meal prep, light housekeeping, and local transportation to appointments and social interactions. Additionally, you will keep the household running in tip top shape through administrative support including scheduling and shopping for supplies. Your compassion and diligence will be essential to ensuring his well-being, comfort, and continuity of care.

Requirements

3+ years of nursing experience
Current Certified Medical Assistant (Texas)
Technically savvy with texting, email, calendaring, word processing, and internet research etc.
Previous experience in a managerial or administrative role within a healthcare or caregiving team
A warm, compassionate personality with a positive attitude
Strong organizational and communication skills; attention to detail
