The Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) provides specialized care and constant monitoring of patients in critical condition. This role includes reviewing electrical heart activity, monitoring vital signs, and caring for patients with conditions such as heart failure, diabetes, and gastrointestinal diseases. The RN will work in a Med/Surg Tele Float Pool, ensuring coverage throughout various units, maintaining a high level of clinical expertise, and ensuring patient safety and high-quality care.

Education:

ADN required, BSN preferred.
Successfully passed the Board of Registration in Nursing Examination.
Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Experience:
Minimum of two years acute care hospital experience required.
Strong skills in telemetry monitoring, cardiac drips, and interpreting telemetry strips.

Certifications:
Active RN License.
BLS and ACLS certifications required (American Heart Association).
CPR certification required.
