HRC Fertility is hiring for a corporate level Director of Clinical/Surgical Risk and Quality Management!

Salary: $120-140k annual salary, DOE plus eligible for 20% bonus annually.

This role will work closely with medical leadership and corporate leadership to support optimum clinical practices and outcomes.
Must be a licensed P.A., N.P. or R.N. with a valid and current licensure.

This role generally requires:

Qualifications: Experienced Clinician (must be currently licensed R.N., P.A. or N.P.); successful completion of applicable accredited clinical program. College degree. Current licensure in the State of California; progressive work experience of 5 years or more, in an acute care hospital, surgical center or medical practice with added surgical program lines, which reflects both clinical and corporate management. Current BCLS, ACLS and other applicable licensures and certifications in good standing. This is an on-site role at corporate offices.
Work Expectations: Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to interface with multiple tiers of workforce including but not limited to physicians, other licensed providers, administrators, administrative support teams and corporate team members
Reports to: Directly to CACLO with dotted line to Physician QM Medical Director, and QM Deputy Medical Director or equivalent.
Work Schedule: Full Time - 80 hours per pay period / 8-hour work day, on site at corporate HQ, with travel ti center sites as needed
Job Summary: Oversight and management of enterprise-wide surgical and medical practice clinical quality management, risk assessment/management, accreditation, internal audit and external audit programs and related trainings, protocols and processes. Working collaboratively with regional surgical and medical practice teams and leadership to achieve enterprise-wide goals, optimum performance and outcomes. This includes oversight of programs supporting applicable federal, state and private audits and accreditation regulations and guidelines, as well as established medical practice and surgical center(s) protocols, policies and procedures. Surgical practice includes preoperative, postoperative and intraoperative. Additionally, functions as corporate-level Infection Control Officer for the Surgery centers as well as accountable for enterprise-wide programs related to infection control, OSHA/Cal-OSHA, CDPH, DHCS, AAHC, CAP and related guidelines and accreditation protocols. QM and Risk programs management also includes support for protocols for purchasing and dispensing of required supplies, controlled drugs, and equipment. Responsible for staff development, orientation and staff discipline and appraisals. Responsible for enterprise-wide policies and procedures, and clinical/medical consents and processes.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

· Knowledge: Working knowledge and experience in medical practice, ambulatory surgery environment, preferably operating room preferred, including direct patient care. Ability to adhere to work schedule and manage time appropriately. Ability to effectively manage the activities and personnel in the surgery center.. Ability to utilize resources in an organized and effective manner.

Skills
• Current, unrestricted applicable clinical license required.
• Applicable BCLS/ACLS required.
• Graduate from an accredited applicable school(s).
• At least 5 years of progressively responsible work experience in a leadership position in a medical and/or surgical practice setting, healthcare administration or closely related field.
• Operating room experience required. Ambulatory surgery experience preferred.
• AAAHC survey experience a strong plus.
• Knowledge and experience in implementing Federal, State and Local laws and regulations, and accreditation requirements.
• Resourceful and well organized; committed to detail and follow-up.
• Excellent presentation and analytical skills plus demonstrated skills to handle a variety of assignments simultaneously.
• Capability to establish credibility and be decisive, with the ability to be able to recognize and support organizational needs, preferences, and priorities.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment.
• Knowledge of process improvement methodologies, including planning, setting priorities, systematic performance assessment, implementation based on such assessment and maintaining achieved improvement.
• Ability to remain calm under stress.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and handle sensitive patient situations well.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel; prior EMR experience required.
