We are looking for a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist with experience in PET/CT and General Nuclear Medicine to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a combination of Wholebody FDG PET/CT, Brain PET imaging, limited Cardiac PET, and Neuroendocrine Imaging procedures. This position offers the opportunity to work with 2 PET/CT scanners and primarily focuses on oncologic diagnosis.
Position Highlights:
Shift:
1st Shift: 08:00 AM – 04:30 PM or 08:30 AM – 05:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
Alternative Schedule: 10-hour shifts available on weeks with Federal holidays (no patients scheduled on Federal holidays).
Caseload:
33 PET/CT scans daily, including a combination of whole body FDG PET/CT, brain PET, and limited cardiac PET, as well as neuroendocrine imaging.
Required Qualifications:
Certifications:
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board)
State License in Nuclear Medicine
Experience:
PET/CT and General Nuclear Medicine experience required, including:
PET
Cardiac PET
Brain scans
Tumor localization
Work Setting Experience: Outpatient and inpatient
General Skills Required:
IV Starts
PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System)
