Manager of Nursing (RN) BMH Emergency Department (ED)

Up to $10,000 Sign-On Bonus (external candidates only)

Role Overview:
Provide strategic leadership and daily operational management for the Emergency Department. Supervise nursing staff, ensure quality patient care, and align with organizational goals.

Responsibilities:
Oversee nursing operations, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and standards.
Monitor patient care plans and staff performance.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Manage staffing, training, and development for nursing personnel.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Participate in budget planning and goal-setting for the department.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Master’s preferred (MSN, MBA, or MHA).
Experience: 3-5 years of clinical and supervisory nursing experience.
Licensure: Current RN license in Michigan; BLS certification required.
Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and data analysis capabilities.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
Prolonged standing/walking.
Mental focus for detailed work and multitasking.
