As a member of our 26-bed PICU, you'll be instrumental in delivering exceptional care for critically ill children alongside a supportive staff. Your experience in pediatrics will be put to good use as you care for patients with cardiovascular needs. To qualify, you must have at least two years of PICU experience and be willing to float within the ICU cluster, which includes the NICU, Burn PICU, and IMCU—all while working with manageable nurse-to-patient ratios. We are looking for compassionate nurses who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and appreciate the collaborative spirit that comes with sharing patient load with CNAs and PCTs. MUST TEST NEGATIVE FOR NICOTINE PICU is a 26 bed unit, IMCU is 13. Previous travel experience of one assignment is required. Two years of experience is required for the PICU. For IMCU, all candidates must have some PICU experience due to floating. 2-5 years of clinical experience in the specialty is required. Floating is required within the ICU cluster (NICE, PICU, Burn PICU, IMCU). Travelers are first to float. Nurse/Patient Ratios: PICU; 1:1-2, IMCU 1:3-4 Ancillary Assistance: CNA/PCT – Yes. 1-2 PCTS per shift. Advanced Practice is on the units.
