Are you a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse looking for a fulfilling opportunity in the Dallas area? Overture Home Care is currently seeking a dynamic and skilled RN to join our team! We are currently looking for someone available to work between 20-40 hours per week. Some of your duties will include:
- Performing basic nursing procedures, including, but not limited to administration of medications and fluids, and all other nursing procedures applicable to the area of assignment and/or type of patients to which assignment is accepted.
- Training caregiving staff on RN delegated care needed
- Assess the patient's needs, develop, and implement an effective individualized plan of care/plan of treatment.
- Observe, report and document any change in patient's condition, giving significant observations, nursing intervention and action following nursing procedure.
- Complete required reports and client assessments as directed.
- Must have a full, active license as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum of two years related work experience in a geriatric healthcare setting required.
- Flexibility as needed when it comes to assessments and scheduling trainings
- Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Demonstrates initiative, problem solving ability, adaptability and flexibility
- Clinical skills: documentation of care, medication administration, infection control precautions, assessing patient educational needs, physical assessment, obtaining vital signs, care coordination.
