RN - CARDIAC PROGRESSIVE CARE

Description

Key Responsibilities:

Nursing Professional Practice: Assess, identify appropriate nursing diagnoses, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Develop, update, and coordinate the patient’s care plan to achieve goals and optimize outcomes. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as necessary. Maintain essential competencies as required for your specific role and patient population.


Advocacy: Advocate for ethical, holistic care by collaborating in care planning to uphold the autonomy, dignity, rights, values, and beliefs of those we serve.


Facilitating Learning: Create a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff, and other healthcare team members, including students. Facilitate both formal and informal learning opportunities.


Safety and Quality Alignment: Be accountable for safety, identify and correct issues, and integrate evidence-based practices into nursing care. Use data to enhance patient outcomes while prioritizing patient and environmental safety.


Professional Development Engagement: Participate in ongoing professional growth; practice within the legal parameters of the Nurse Practice Act, Nursing Social Policy Statement, ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses, and specialty standards. Promote a culture of inquiry that explores and disseminates research and evidence-based practices.


Leadership in Practice Setting & Community: Lead and coordinate teams, delegate appropriately, and collaborate with inter-professional care team members to integrate nursing knowledge. Model professional behavior as a representative of the nursing profession

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited nursing program.

Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.

National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics upon hire.

1 year of nursing experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

National Certification in the area of specialty upon hire.
