As the Director of Learning and Development, you will be responsible for overseeing the training and development programs within the organization. You will play a crucial role in enhancing employee skills and knowledge to drive organizational growth and success. Qualified candidates will have their Master’s degree, 7+ years progressive experience in learning and development and 5+ years of supervisory experience.
• Define metrics and data to assess and monitor the effectiveness of offerings to ensure programs are delivered in a world class experience level and are relevant to the needs of the organization.
• Partner with the Learning team to ensure best-in class learning interventions are able to be delivered with an andragogic approach, establishing best practices, content delivery guidelines and ongoing oversight of program delivery deliverables to ensure high quality learning
• Oversee the delivery and evaluation of all learning and development programs and instructional material including classroom learning, self-study material, e-learning, team builders, and on the job learning.
• Lead the delivery and continuous improvement of a comprehensive learning strategy ensuring strategic alignment of learning and development with business goals
• Utilize the Larning Management system for assigning and tracking learning content and courses delivered across the organization
• Implement and maintain a comprehensive communication strategy for learning and development interventions and development programs
• Deliver and oversee learning programs that specifically target the professional development of diverse team members as part of the organization’s team member diversity objectives
Education and Experience Requirements;
• Master’s degree, Doctorate degree preferred, preferably in Leadership, Learning Management, Instructional Design, Human Resource Development or a related field
• 7-10 years progressive experience in learning and development, with 5 years supervisory experience required
• ICF or related coaching certificate preferred. Certifications in diagnostic tools and assessments desirable
• Broad knowledge of adult learning concepts, learning technologists and instructional design techniques to provide a broad range of learning experiences to include ADDIE, Tell/Show/Do/Review, Blooms, Taxonomy, Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, Kirkpatrick Evaluation Model, Andragogy, Change Management, etc.
• Proficiency in Google and MS Office suite of products, including Articulate, Adobe Pro, Google Meet and PowerPoint required
