Compliance Evaluation:
Assess adherence to Magnet Program standards and lead improvement initiatives.
Collaboration:
Partner with nursing staff to foster excellence and bedside-driven leadership.
Education & Integration:
Educate nurses on NDNQI and Magnet Program components.
Incorporate patient and family engagement into practices.
Data Management:
Analyze and maintain nursing quality data, scorecards, and dashboards.
Oversight:
Manage the National Database for Nursing Quality Indicators, RN Satisfaction Survey, and Magnet application process.
Mentor staff to develop professionally and ensure compliance with Evidence-Based Practices (EBP).
Leadership:
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to achieve quality and accreditation goals.
Provide presentations on Magnet, nursing quality, and professional practice.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (required).
Master’s degree (preferably with a focus on Nursing) (required).
Experience:
3-5 years in healthcare with progressively increasing responsibility.
Management experience at the department head level.
Licensure:
Current Michigan RN license.
Certification in specialty strongly preferred.
Skills:
Expertise in nursing standards, data analysis, and quality metrics.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Strong verbal, written communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work with all levels of staff and leadership.
