JOB DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS
Registered Nurse – Neonatal Intensive Care - Travel - (NICU RN)
StartDate: 2/3/2025 Available Shifts: 12 D Pay Rate: $1751.70 - $2290.69

The NICU is located on B4 and consists of 53 private rooms, including 7 twin capacity patient rooms. The NICU is designed to provide specialized care for the neonate with comprehensive medical, nursing and family needs. It is a component of the Level IV Regional Perinatal Center. The population of the unit consists of acutely ill premature and full term infants.

Required Qualifications
1. NY RN license (#, expiration)
2. The manager is looking for very strong Level IV RNS. Please make sure their work history shows Level 4 Experience.
3. BLS, NRP
4. Must have experience with neonates requiring continuous cardiorespiratory monitoring, IV access/Central Lines/Umbilical lines, and respiratory support (mechanical ventilation, CPAP, High flow)
5. NICU RNs and travel RNs may float to partner units in the Children’s Hospital including Pediatric ICU or floors (assignments less than 1 year or age) or Well baby nursery (infant care only)
6. SSN/DOB and current reference required to send
7. Non local
8. EPIC charting experience

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with inhaled Nitric Oxide (iNO), high frequency ventilation, Delivery Room stabilization are a plus
