Overview of the Role:
Our client is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Behavioral Health unit located in Richmond, VA. This full-time night shift position requires the flexibility to work rotating weekends. As an RN in Behavioral Health, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to patients, ensuring their well-being and contributing to their recovery.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Behavioral Health unit.
Administer medications, change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor vital signs.
Utilize computerized documentation systems to record and communicate patient conditions.
Coordinate with other healthcare team members to deliver well-coordinated patient care.
Manage patients’ discharge planning needs to ensure proper aftercare.
Benefits & Perks:
Compensation: Competitive salary ranging from $31.55 to $45.07 per hour, based on experience.
Shift Differentials: Additional $6 per hour for weeknight shifts, $7 for weekend night shifts, and $5 for weekend day shifts.

Requirements:
Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) with a Registered Nurse Diploma.
Certifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of employment. Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification required within 60 days of employment.
Experience: Candidates with LTAC experience who are interested in behavioral health are strongly encouraged to apply.
