Busy oral surgery office in Newport News VA is looking for an RN to assist with sedation surgeries. Duties will include but are not limited to administering IVs, providing pre and post op care patient care, coordinating medical clearance with the medical doctor prior to surgery, and assisting with surgery, prescriptions, and daily post-op calls. There is no call or week-end obligation and the work week typically would be 35-40 per week depending on the time of year.
Must be proficient in starting IV and monitoring patients during sedation surgeries.
