Description

Job Summary:
The Administrative Director of Cardiovascular Services manages the operations of the Cardiovascular Programs, including CV Recovery, Cardiovascular Services, and Electrophysiology Lab. This role ensures the efficient and effective integration of services to support the healthcare system and medical staff, overseeing quality initiatives, strategic planning, and policy setting.
Our client is a full-service acute care hospital, with over 300 beds that offer a range of services including emergency care, cardiac care, women's services, Level III NICU, rehabilitation, a bariatric clinic, and a Minimally Invasive Surgery Center.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage cardiovascular operations to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Integrate various operations to provide an appropriate continuum of care.
- Provide direct oversight of the cardiovascular service line as the Administrative Director.
- Implement quality initiatives related to patient safety and performance improvement.
- Conduct strategic planning and policy setting activities.
- Engage in physician relations to ensure support and address needs and opportunities.
- Oversee marketing and product development for cardiovascular programs.
- Supervise and participate in the annual review process, goal setting, and employee development.
- Ensure financial accountability and adherence to operating guidelines.
- Handle payroll, control overtime, and provide weekly staffing reports.
- Maintain Radiation Safety and sterile techniques.

Schedule: Full-Time, No Weekends

Additional Information:
- Total units covered: Cath, EP, IR, ECHO/VAS, CV Prep/Recovery.
- 3 Cath Labs, 1 EP Lab, 1 IR Lab.
- 20-25 FTEs.
- Adult patients only.
- Typical procedural hours are Monday to Friday, days, with emergency call.

Requirements

- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
- Must meet one of the following requirements:
+ American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
+ Registered Nurse (RN)
+ Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
+ Registered Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)
- BSN required, MSN or MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of clinical cardiovascular leadership experience required.
- Extensive Cath Lab and EP experience preferred.
