Med-Call Staffing
Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate with other health care professionals to ensure patients receive appropriate care.
Administer prescribed medication intravenously (IV), orally, or subcutaneously and report any adverse reactions.
Monitor patient vital signs using specialized equipment, such as EKGs, and identify any irregular rhythms or readings.
Offer corrective action in the event that symptoms worsen or adverse reactions arise.
Provide basic bedside care, such as providing emotional support and advocating for patient needs.
Keeping organized and following patient care plans exactly.
Administering medications and using medical equipment.
Communicating clearly and honestly with people from all backgrounds.
Keeping good records and maintaining patients’ charts.
Using basic math skills adequate for dosage calculations.
The ability to work as part of a team in a hospital or post-acute care setting or to work alone as a home visitor.
Standing for long periods, lifting moderate weight and working in environments where there may be infectious material.
To be considered for these positions, we require the following qualifications:
1. Valid and active RN license in Illinois.
2. TWO years of a recent Med/Surg Tele experience.
3. Strong clinical skills and the ability to work autonomously.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to adapt to a dynamic and challenging work environment.
