Registered Nurse – Progressive Care - Travel - (PCU RN)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $1885.69 - $2465.90

Position Details RN PCU/Stepdown Unit 1W Will consider 36 or 48 hours (OT after 48) No local candidates (within 50 mile radius) Increased rate only valid for December starts Dysrhythmia Exam Required (Study Guide Available in Library) 1-year minimum experience in PCU Travel experience NOT required 12 HR Nights, Floating as needed Every other weekend &. major holiday required Unit Specific Details Unit Size: 33 beds Ratios*: 1:4-5 on days and 1:5-6 on nights, acuity dependent. Patient Population: Cardiac Telemetry, Vascular and Med-Surg. Some Post Cath, Post Pacemakers. Lines/Drains/Devices: PICC’s, dialysis catheter’s, PEG tubes, ostomies, foley’s, chest tubes, NG tubes, tube feeding (Kangaroo pumps), wound vacs. Airway: Trachs, BiPAP, CPAP, Heated High Flow, High Flow, Nasal cannulas. No ventilators. Drips: Cardizem, Amio, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Lasix, Heparin, and Insulin. PCA pumps for pain management. Ancillary Staff: 1-3 PCA’s and unit secretary depending on census and availability. Phlebotomy available for lab draws. Other: Nurses are required to read/verify telemetry strips once a shift in EPIC. *All listed ratios are subject to change based on staffing availability at the facility. Ratios are never guaranteed but are what the unit typically attempts to achieve with normalized staffing. Scrubs: Navy blue scrubs. BLS, ACLS required
