Overview of the Role:
Join our client's expanding Neonatology practice as a Neonatology Nurse Practitioner in an engaging role dedicated to providing Level III neonatology services. Help extend exceptional care to newborns across two locations in suburban North Atlanta. As part of this dynamic team, you will work alongside pediatricians, pediatric nurse practitioners, and board-certified neonatologists, contributing to the 24/7 coverage at our hospital locations.
Responsibilities:
-Deliver high-quality Level III NICU care, managing cases with an
average census of 18-20 in Cumming and 13-15 in Canton.
-Administer advanced therapies including HFOV, iNO, and whole-body
cooling (available at Forsyth).
-Provide NBN care for newborns, ensuring over 90% coverage at -Forsyth and 100% at Cherokee.
-Engage in a team-based approach with access to specialized NICU
resources such as dedicated pharmacy and therapy services.
-Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists (cardiology, neurology,
ophthalmology) for comprehensive patient care.
-Work flexible 24-hour shifts, 7-8 times a month across both locations
to meet scheduling needs.
-Contribute to the development and implementation of patient care
strategies and protocols.

Requirements:
-Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.
-Board certification as a Neonatal NP is mandatory (PAs, FNPs, PNPs, or
other NP certifications are not accepted).
-Master’s Degree required.
-Must reside in the immediate local area or be open to relocation.
-This full-time, permanent position is not open to locums or new
graduate candidates.
