Primary Responsibilities:
-Manage daily clinic operations, ensuring smooth workflows, effective service delivery, and high patient care standards.
-Supervise and mentor LVNs and support staff, fostering professional growth and training in trauma-informed care practices.
-Monitor patient care quality, including assessments, treatment plans, and follow-ups, ensuring alignment with clinic standards and the needs of domestic violence survivors.
-Oversee age-appropriate care for children and adults, including immunizations, growth checks, and health education, collaborating with specialists as needed.
-Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans with the healthcare team, maintaining accurate and confidential records in the EMR system per HIPAA guidelines.
-Partner with social services staff, counselors, and external providers to connect clients with resources like mental health care, housing, and legal support.
-Ensure a clean, organized, and well-stocked clinic by managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment.
-Represent the clinic in community healthcare meetings, coordinating with local organizations to expand resources and improve patient care.
Required Qualifications:
-Minimum 5 years of clinical LVN experience, including 2 in a supervisory or lead role.
-Experience in community healthcare or trauma-informed care is preferred.
-Skilled in managing clinic operations, mentoring staff, and multitasking in a fast-paced setting.
-Understanding of diverse backgrounds and ability to serve individuals with varied cultural and linguistic needs.
-Empathetic and respectful, with a commitment to confidentiality and trauma-informed care principles.
-Strong communication skills for collaborating with teams and explaining medical information to patients.
-Proficient in EMR systems and Computer | Project management programs.
Required Licenses and Certifications:
-Current LVN Texas State or Compact license, with completion of an accredited vocational nursing program.
Working Environment:
-Full-time, managerial role that may include occasional evenings or weekends based on agency, shelter, and/or client requirements.
