BACKGROUND

We have accomplished this by maintaining a modern facility utilizing equipment and tools used in the professions, the latest instructional materials, and a faculty with real world experience. LVC curriculum is also reviewed on a regular basis by industry professionals to ensure that students are learning relevant information in their chosen fields of study.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The RN or LPN Program Instructor/Instructor Assistant provides leadership and hands on training opportunities to students. Training is provided in the functional areas needed to carry out clinical, classroom, and/or laboratory teaching assignments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
• Clinical:
o Clarify daily clinical expectations with students during pre-
conference.
o Clarify student placement and expectations with clinical facility
staff.
o Make patient/student assignments that meet both clinical
objectives and patient needs.
o Assist students in client care and invasive procedures.
o Complete midterm and end of term student evaluations.
• Didactic:
o Participate in curriculum development/revision as needed.
o Teach assigned didactic courses.
o support student success.
o Attend bi-monthly faculty meetings, quarterly pinning ceremony,
and graduation.
COMPENSATION
$90,000 annual FT salary or, Part-Time available + Benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, matching 401k, PTO, and more!

**Classes taught on-ground in a classroom environment. Candidates must reside in the Greater Las Vegas Area.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Nevada RN license in good standing.
• Minimum Master of Science in Nursing.
• Didactic and Clinical teaching experience for Practical Nursing or
AAS Degree in Nursing (RN) programs (preferred, not required).
• Nursing Competence in three or more areas of Fundamentals,
Pharmacology, IV Therapy, Medical-Surgical Nursing,
Maternal/Child (OB and PEDS), Mental Health, Community,
Leadership and Management and proof of training in High Fidelity
Simulation.
• Competence in computer applications preferred (not required): CANVAS, Assessment Technology Institute, Inc. (ATI), Microsoft Office, and Outlook.
