Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the day-to-day operations of our healthcare facility.

Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor and record patients' vital signs and ensure the accuracy of data in patient medical records.
* Administer medications and injections to patients as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
* Assist in the implementation of patient care plans, which may include therapeutic treatments and injections.
* Perform routine patient care duties such as dressing wounds, administering IVs, and changing catheters.
* Observe patients’ conditions and report any significant changes to the registered nurse or doctor in charge.
* Educate and counsel patients and their families on maintaining health and managing diseases.
* Ensure that patient care is provided in accordance with all relevant regulations and standards.
* Assist with diagnostic tests and clinical procedures as needed.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients.

Qualifications:
* Valid LVN license in the state of practice.
* Completion of an accredited vocational nursing program.
* Proven experience as an LVN or similar role; experience in a specific area of medicine may be required depending on the department.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, family members, and other healthcare professionals.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

1. Licensure:
* Must possess a current, active, and unencumbered Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license from the state board of nursing in the state where they intend to work.
2. Education:
* Completion of an accredited vocational nursing program is required.
* A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary.
3. Experience:
* Previous experience as an LVN, preferably in a clinical setting such as a hospital, long-term care facility, or home health environment, is valued.
* New graduates are welcome to apply if they meet other requirements.
4. Certifications:
* CPR certification is typically required.
* Additional certifications such as IV certification or BLS (Basic Life Support) may be required or preferred depending on the employer.
5. Skills:
* Strong clinical skills with the ability to perform all necessary tasks within the scope of practice for an LVN.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective patient interactions and documentation.
* Ability to assess patient health conditions and implement appropriate care plans.
* Proficient in administering medications and understanding drug interactions and side effects.
* Capable of using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
