As a vital member of our caregiving team, you’ll play a key role in creating a positive, safe, and nurturing environment for our father. In addition to scheduling his doctor appointments, managing his daily medication and supplements inventory, and making sure his Caregiver Team understands all doctors’ orders, you will be providing hands-on patient care. Your goal will be to help him enjoy life by performing daily functions such as meal prep, light housekeeping, and local transportation to appointments and social interactions. Occasional travel both within Texas and out of state will be required to accompany the client on family visits and for out of town special events. This position requires 24-hour on-call availability, with the potential for active work if alternative coverage cannot be arranged. Additionally, you’ll take on important administrative duties, including coordinating and managing his care team.
5+ years of nursing experience
Current LVN license (Texas)
Previous experience in a managerial or leadership role within a healthcare or caregiving team
Technically savvy with texting, email, calendaring, word processing, and internet research etc.
A warm, compassionate personality with a positive attitude
Strong organizational and communication skills
