Job at a Glance:
- First, assist with conduit harvesting, inpatient rounding, and consults.
- 80-90% is OR; 10-20% is inpatient
- Endoscopic Vein Harvesting: Maquet Vasioview HemoPro 2
Possible Procedures: Lines (arterial and venous) are placed, chest tubes are removed, packing wires are placed, IABPs are placed, and ECMO decannulation is performed. Chest tube insertion is rare but possible with assistance from the attending surgeon.
- The CT surgery team doesn't do advanced heart failure, VADs, or transplants.
- Candidate will not work solo
