POSITION SUMMARY:
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides nursing care under the direction of the Nurse Supervisor or Manager. The RN ensures positive clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and safe care within the scope of practice, while collaborating with the healthcare team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assessment:
Collect and analyze patient data, identifying problems or needs.
Care Planning:
Set goals, develop care plans, and evaluate patient progress.
Implementing Care:
Provide nursing care, administer medications, and document responses.
Managing Care:
Delegate tasks, supervise staff, and adjust care plans as needed.
Participate in discharge planning and communicate with patients and families.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work with physicians, departments, and nursing staff to provide coordinated care.
Compliance:
Follow legal, ethical, and policy guidelines. Report concerns when necessary.
EDUCATIONAL & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate from an approved nursing school.
Current State Nursing License.
Preferred experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry up to 40 lbs.
Requires occasional bending, stooping, and climbing.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Strong physical assessment and nursing knowledge.
Good communication skills in English.
Ability to coordinate care and solve problems
