Registered Nurse – Neonatal Intensive Care - Travel - (NICU RN)
StartDate: 5/11/2025 Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $1867.05 - $2441.53

This unit provides intensive, comprehensive care and monitoring for neonates who are experiencing life-threatening conditions. According to the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), this would be a Level III or Level IV designation. Centered in the heart of San Joaquin County, Adventist Health Lodi Memorial has been one of the area's leading healthcare providers since 1952. We are comprised of a 190-bed hospital, 17 medical offices, home care services, comprehensive cancer care and a vast scope of award-winning services located throughout Lodi and the surrounding areas. Lodi is known for its small-town charm, extensive vineyards and delicious local restaurants and bakeries. The allure of Lodi's close-knit community is complimented by its proximity to major metropolitan cities in the Bay Area and Sacramento, as well as a quick drive to Lake Tahoe or the Northern California coast. Job Summary: Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment. Job Requirements: Education and Work Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred Acute care facility experience: Preferred Licenses/Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required Department Specific License/Certifications: Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP): Required Essential Functions: Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient?s health or situation. Analyzes the assessment data in determining diagnosis and care issues. Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes. Implements the plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment. Evaluates progress toward attaining outcomes. Identifies outcomes for the patient or the patient?s situation. Collaborates with the team of patient, family, and healthcare providers in providing patient care in a safe, healing, humane, and caring environment. Provides learning opportunities for patients/family members and team members. Directly provides health information to patients, families, and treatment team. Participates in discharge planning in order to provide continuity of care. Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Postpartum with couplet care experience.
