Description

 Job Summary:
They are seeking an experienced Director of Maternal and Newborn Services to lead their high-volume Labor & Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will be a proven leader with a strong focus on patient care, staff competency, and departmental performance.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial and clinical operations of Labor & Delivery, L&D OR, and OB ED.
- Ensure staff competency and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with medical and nursing staff, administration, patients, and families.
- Participate in hiring and staffing processes.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Focus on employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction.

Requirements

- Minimum of 3 years of recent Director or Manager experience in Labor & Delivery or Women’s Services.
- Must have managed high-volume L&D units (10,000+ annual deliveries).
- MSN required.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a registered nurse in Texas.
- Proven leadership and collaborative relationship management skills.
