Responsibilities:
-Cultivate a superior clinical identity and implement evidence-based
practices to improve patient safety and quality outcomes.
-Manage clinical practice variations, enhancing efficiency and
effectiveness while maintaining cost-control measures.
-Ensure compliance with internal and external benchmarks,
accreditations, and legal standards by developing and executing relevant policies.
-Oversee patient throughput and ensure high-quality care through
effective volume forecasting and patient flow coordination.
-Foster interdisciplinary communication and ensure staff assignments
align with clinical competencies and patient care needs.
-Provide leadership in developing nursing standards that meet patient
and family needs, positively influencing the patient experience.
-Leverage feedback mechanisms to improve customer satisfaction and
develop strategies to enhance patient and employee engagement.
-Collaborate with administrative teams and physicians to enhance
service offerings and contribute to the annual budget process.

Requirements:
-Bachelor’s Degree or an approved education plan is essential.
-Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred; Master’s Degree is seen
favorably.
-Active nursing license in the relevant state(s) or an active compact
license.
-BLS certification required; ACLS, NRP, FHM, and RNC-OB certifications
preferred.
-Minimum 5+ years of Labor and Delivery experience in an acute care
setting required.
-3+ years of recent leadership experience in a Director role within Labor
and Delivery acute care setting required.
