Med-Call Staffing
We are currently seeking a qualified and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker, specializing in conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for housing applications. In this role, the License Clinical Social Worker will play a crucial part in assessing and addressing the mental health needs of individuals applying for housing assistance. Salary is $75,000 to $80,000 per year. Schedule is M-F, 9 am to 5 pm, 3 days in office, 2 days remote.
Responsibilities Include:
• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for housing applicants, focusing on areas such as mental status, psychiatric diagnoses, treatment and histories, medication, and clinical recommendations.
• Provide high-quality behavioral health assessments through telehealth platform.
• Actively collaborate in a virtual setting, delivering evidence-based interventions to assess the unique needs of clients seeking housing support.
• Demonstrate adaptability to virtual platforms, ensuring effective communication and maintaining a commitment to delivering exceptional telehealth behavioral health services.
• Emphasize continuous professional development within the telehealth landscape.
• Ensure the confidentiality of every virtual session with access to a private and secure working environment, eliminating any risk of unintentional disclosure.
• Ensure secure and encrypted channels for all client interactions, always maintaining client’s privacy and confidentiality.
• Evaluate the risk level of each client and, when necessary, collaboratively develop and implement safety planning/monitoring.
• Engage in virtual case conferences for the ongoing coordination of clients' care and housing application process.
• Generate timely, accurate clinical recommendations that are congruent with the clients’ diagnosis and consistent with the scope of the housing application.
• Generate timely, accurate encounter notes with diagnoses and appropriate CPT Codes.
• Maintain confidentiality of records relating to client’s treatment.
• Participate in one-hour weekly supervision sessions.
• Stay accessible for ongoing training and certifications as per requirements.
• Perform other duties in support of the agency's quality assurance process.
• Master’s degree in social work with current license as an LCSW in New York State.
• Proven experience in telehealth psychotherapy, and various methods of treatment including evidence-based practices.
• Previous experience with housing application process, including the 2010e application for supportive housing.
• Access to a private and secure work environment to conduct virtual sessions when working remotely.
