Facility will ACCEPT LOCALS for this position. ALL RTO requests must be in the packet at the time of submission. Anything sent after, will not be approved. Position Description: L&D - Every other weekend, no on-call. Must have at least 2 years exp. Fac beds 104, unit beds 30. EMR: Epic. Attire: navy scrubs, no extreme, acrylic, or gel nails. Travelers will float and float first. No self-scheduling. Every other weekend, holidays as needed. NO BLOCK SCHEDULING. Required Upon Submission: BLS & ACLS. Must have active MD/Compact license in packet at time of submission, no temp licenses allowed. COVID vaccine required. Medical Declination accepted. Must have signed and authorized documentation from Physician in packet or submission will be dropped. UMMS does not accept religious COVID declinations. Perform EKG’s. Assist with Epidural placement, attend deliveries vaginal and surgical, newborn care – circumcisions, assist with NRP, UVC placement. Breastfeeding support. Newborn care instructions for new families.
