Responsibilities:
-Identify and resolve real or potential service-related problems by
implementing effective solutions.
-Actively participate in committees at various levels and disseminate

-Elevate the customer experience within Surgical Services through
strategic initiatives.
-Coach and mentor the team, facilitating development plans and
providing performance evaluations.
-Cultivate strong relationships and achieve departmental goals through

-Mentor potential leaders and engage in employee/patient rounding.
-Develop and sustain comprehensive surgical services programs.
-Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and hospital policies.

excellence.
-Maintain safe procedural practices and foster positive patient
interactions.
-Lead strategic initiatives designed to foster departmental and patient
services growth.
-Uphold the hospital's mission, values, and adherence to the Code of
Conduct.

-Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
-Master's in Nursing, Business Administration, Healthcare
Administration, or related field preferred
-3+ years of leadership experience preferred (equivalent
education/experience considered)
-Current RN license required (state regulations compliant)
-Certifications: CNOR (preferred), CSSM (preferred)
-Proven track record in a leadership role within surgical services.
-Strong analytical skills with a focus on data and metrics.
-Experience with coaching and mentoring a team, holding staff
accountable.
-Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage rapid change.
-Hands-on approach in operating rooms when necessary.
