Position: Travel Registered
Specialty: ICU
Location: Jacksonville, IL
Duration: 13 Weeks with possible extension
Days/Hours: 4x12-Hour
Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
Requirements:
2 Years of experience as RN ICU.
Certs REQ: ACLS, BLS, NIH required. PALS preferred.
Active RN License of Illinois.
Weekend REQ: Will work every other weekend
Special Requirements:
Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response
Skills/Experience: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Multi-system organ failure, Obtain 12 lead EKG. IV insulin protocol experience required.
Required Genitourinary/Renal Case Skills/Experience: Chronic/Acute Renal failure.
Required IV therapy Skills/Experience: Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting IVs.
Required Medication Skills/Experience: Continuous IV paralytics/Neuromuscular blockade, Continuous IV sedation, Emergency Medications, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips. Required Respiratory/Thoracic Case
Skills/Experience: Assist with management of BiPAP, Assist with management of CPAP, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, Care of Ventilated Patient, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of ABGs, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Ventilator Management.
Required Professional Topics and Skills: Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/ Use of PPE, Surgical Wounds with drains/Wound Vac.
